Due to the teaching and inspiration of Kyoshi Murphy, I dedicated my life to Martial Arts training. It has given me a quality of life that i can never repay.
Training Martial Arts with Sensei Patrick Murphy was one of the most important things I have ever done and it has changed my life for the better. Not only is he a treasure trove of martial arts knowledge, but he cares passionately about his students. The atmosphere he creates is incredibly upbeat, positive and super fun. If you ever have the chance to train with him, do it! It could just change your life! Carpe Diem.

I studied under Sensei Murphy for a number of years, and I have tried to find the same type of chemistry in other schools to no avail. The confidence, self control, respect and success that Sensei Murphy was able to instill in me is unsurpassed. I will be a lifetime student.
Kyoshi Murphy's passion for Martial Arts is inspiring, contagious and enduring. His approach to teaching sparks excitement in both adults and children. He lit the spark of Budo in me in 1983, and it still burns today.
When I was training under Terry Lee, and student of Pat Murphy's, Sensei Murphy would come to join our class and I remember his passion for what he was teaching us in self defense. It wasn't just something for us to take a lack luster interest in. It was something that was meant to defend you, or your family. He would ask us if your family is in danger how are you going to react? You are going to do what you have to, to protect them. Something I have carried with me to this day.
Sensei Pat Murphy has been my mentor, my instructor in the martial arts for over 30 years. He is a very humble and solid instructor in the martial arts. I would recommend his instruction to anyone who wants to gain confidence and health.
